Bone Chillin’ Raw Review for 3-12-07

The Road to Wrestlemania is on it's way and Raw delivered an okay episode. Their was some good stuff, but mostly bland! Raw should pick up some of Smackdowns ideas and start building heat between wrestlers for Wrestlemania. I hope RAW will pick up the closer we get to the showcase of immortals!

THE HOT STUFF:

- Money in the Bank match with Orton, Flair and Carlito. This is a continuance of last week's aborted match between Flair and Carlito. Orton picked up the win and the last spot in the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania with an RKO on Flair and Carlito. A good match with Carlito showing more passion than I have seen in a while!

-- The tag team gauntlet match between HBK and Cena vs Worldest Greatest Tag Team, Cade and Murdock and Mecury and Nitro (where is Cryme Time??). The final match happened in a steel cage (for no good reason really). The wrestling was good but the tension between HBK and Cena was really the story --- they are building this feud right and this is going to be the match of the night at Wrestlemania! HBK and Cena retained the Tag Team Titles.

--- Melina and Torrie Wilson had a surpising good match! Torrie really brought her "A" game and Melina looked pretty good. After Melina picked up the victory, Victoria, Mickie James and Ashley all stormed the ring for a little Diva Beatdown. The match at Wrestlemania between Ashely and Melina will probably be one big Playboy commerical.

---- FINALLY THE ROCK IS BACK! The Rock had a pre-recorded message about the Billionaire hair match. He gives Trump the win. Wow, the first "movie" star to give Trump the win ... I think he is right. Man, I wish the Rock was their in person but it was great to see him!!

Congrats to Mr. Fuji for his Hall of Fame induction


THE NOT SO HOT STUFF:

- Another MasterLock Challenge ... Who Cares, end this and send Chris Masters to Heat or ECW!

-- Jeff Hardy vs Edge: Again Edge came out with another lame excuse and said that he could not wrestle because of the racial slur that is the Washington Redskins. To take Edge's place was the Great Khali. Poor Jeff Hardy he was getting his ass kicked until Kane came out and cleared the ring. It looks like Kane vs Khali at Wrestlemania.

--- The Billionaire Hair Match contract signing. I am soo bored with the multi-recaps and the forever promos from Vince and Trump. The only Highlight was Stone Cold. He was back to full-form talking tash and raising hell!



SUPERSTAR OF THE NIGHT: THE ROCK

Now the Rock was only on for a few minutes in a pre-recorded message but damn he was ON and made us all remember why he is The Great One!

I wish he could come back for one more run .. I would love to see him go one on one with HBK, Cena, Nitro and even Ric Flair, but I don't think that is in the cards for The Great One.





I was not to impressed with this episode of Raw. A little better than last week because of The Rock and Stone Cold. Raw is building the HBK and Cena feud right, but the Hair Match is starting to overshadow the real matches at Wrestlemania.

Only 18 Days away to WRESTLEMANIA 23!!! Oh Hell YA!
