Bone Crackin' ECW Review 3-13-07

Welcome to a rare ECW review on Vince for President. We normally don't watch ECW on a weekly basis like we do Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown but we wanted to watch the Randy Orton vs Bobby Lashley main event match.

THE HOT STUFF:

- Elijah Burke, he is part of ECW New Breed and the man has talent .. I look forward to seeing him move away from ECW and get involved in Raw or Smackdown.

-- Randy Orton, playing the smart ass heel is perfect for Orton ... I am enjoying the slow burn between Orton and Edge. The match between Orton and Lashley was nothing special the real story was Edge and Orton .. WWE is building the feud between RKO right, I see this feud taking off after Wrestlemania 23.

--- Snitsky, he looked crazy and squashed two jobbers pretty fast.

THE NOT SO HOT STUFF:

- The eight man tag between the ECW New Breed and the ECW Originals! What a Craptacular match. All the Superstars looked and acted weak. Only Elijah Burke and Tommy Dreamer showed some passion and suprisely they were the last two left, with Dreamer pulling a win out of nowhere when he thru Burke over the top rope.

Any match that has Matt Striker dominate any WWE Superstar is just plan wrong and unbelievable. RVD looked like he was stoned and was very sloppy in the ring. Sandman and Sabu have become a joke of their former selves!

-- The Diva Exposé is just a F@#$ing JOKE this is a wrestling show not a strip club. I don't mind a little T&A but this is just mind blowing stupid.

SUPERSTAR OF THE NIGHT: ELIJAH BURKE

Elijah is a small light shinning in this den of crapatude! I hope to see Burke move into the main event scene with Lashley so he can build his talent a little more and then move to one of the other brands and become the Superstar he is destined to be.

With only an hour available to them you would think ECW would cram pack all they could into this hour. Instead we get weak wrestling and no story line development! Instead of putting CM Punk or anyone into a match, we get The Diva Exposé. With its limited time frame ECW is relying on Tazz and Joey Styles to advance the story lines but I can hardly listen to Joey Styles and Tazz sounds like he is phoning in his commentary (not that I don't blame him).

MY RATING: 2
