The Smacketh Down: Screamin' Mimi's Top 5 thoughts on the best Friday night has to offer

I've been lazy; I admit it. I've been really enjoying Smackdown lately and I needed some time to really revel in what I thought some of the best moments were so here it goes. These are my top 5 thoughts on Smackdown for March 2:

5. Batista - Batista is huge right now and I mean huge (maybe more literally). He's wearing all white - what's that about? Good vs. evil psychology I suppose or maybe Vince is setting him up to play heal since no one wants to boo Taker. Why is everyone in LOVE with Batista? His fan base is gynormous and I'm like, the Batista Bomb again?....SNORE. I guess he has some vaguely good mic skills, but I've heard some better banter from Eugene and he's not supposed to be all with it. Vince is really in love with all of these giant guys and Batista is no different. Let's give these huge guys all the chances just because he's got big muscles. He does the same move over and over again!!!! He's stiff and he doesn't even have the best mat skills. This should not be the man to bring down the Undertaker Wrestlemania winning streak! If anyone EVER breaks the Undertaker at Wrestlemania let it be someone really fantastic (I can't even think of someone that good right now) and let them shake hands afterwards (something like Hogan vs. The Rock match, passing the torch).

4. Jimmy Wang Yang - This man is on fire. Jimmy is fantastic in the ring and he's got a big draw. His standing moonsault is incredible. I'm not even that flexible! He's a redneck and all of the fans love him. Give this guy another shot at the belt. Chavo is practically a heavyweight now; he needs to move on. I'm getting really tired of the whole Vicki, Chavo, Rey, Benoit storyline. Chavo needs to step out of the spotlight for awhile and Jimmy is just the man to fill it.

3. Bobby Lashley - The match with Mr. Kennedy was decent. It looks like if ECW heads south (where I think it's headed) Vince will hang on to Bobby Lashley and I think it's a good idea. Vince is always pretty excited about large guys (see #5), but Lashley seems like he has some serious potential. I haven't been watching ECW so it was good to see him on Smackdown and it seems like the crowd is with him.

2. Matt Hardy - The fans are eating and breathing Matt Hardy. He will be fabulous in the money-in-the-bank match and I wouldn't be shocked to see him win. Matt has done some serious time in the intercontinental arena and he deserves to get pushed to the top. Who else is more deserving? Matt always plays the crowd, he's decent on the mic, and the fans are beginning to recognize his talent. They even shout for Matt when he's on the outside, like in the three man tag match last week. We're behind you buddy.

1. Mr. Kennedy - No one has impressed me more lately than Mr. Kennedy. Out of all the semi-new talent to come down the pike this guy stands as one of the very best. Mr. Kennedy has been carrying Batista and I say he deserves the belt. This guy has fantastic mic skills and he's always challenging people. Mr. Kennedy is at the top of his game and no one can tell him different. I was a little disappointed that he had a match with Batista and the match this week with Bobby Lashley that looked really similar, but I'm gonna let that slide because I can't get enough of this guy.
